We welcomed ladder leader Kenmore to Redcliffe in what we saw as a great opportunity to see how we match up against what seems a very strong outfit.

From the outset we created a lot of opportunities and kicked away to a 4 goal lead at half time. With 3 more centre clearances and 6 more inside 50’s it showed we were more than matching a team who have been kicking big scores.

With a make or break 3rd quarter we entered our forward 50 10 times but could only come up with 1 goal. This would prove to be the difference as Kenmore entered their 50 in the last quarter the same amount of times but came away with 6 majors.

In what was a case of what may have been we were beaten by 15 points but we know we can match it when we want to. With a week off to freshen up we look forward to the next 6 weeks in the run up to an anticipated finals berth.
