Congratulations to Ben 'Spooner' Strang for winning the 2011 AFLQ U18's Div 2 Nth Best & Fairest player award, and to Joseph Gould on winning the 2011 AFLQ U18's Div 2 Nth Goal Kicking award which was held at Royal on the Park on Monday night.

Spooner finished 7 votes clear of 2nd place with 26 votes, which was the highest tally of votes from the 3 divisions awarded on the night. Corbin Dickfos finished with an amazing 11 votes from just 6 games before breaking his collar bone, while Tyson Brown polled 10.

Joseph Gould kicked 52 goals for the year which included a bag of 10 against Caboolture in round 11.

Once again, Congratulations to both players on a fantastic year, and we hope that this will inspire our younger players to want to reach to new heights and believe that it can happen with the knowledge of knowing that we are producing some very good players down at Tigertown.
