The amendments are needed to refer to the correct subrules

The Redcliffe Tigers AFC Inc Management Committee recommends that the members approve the proposed amendment

RULE 44         FINANCIAL YEAR

The end date of the Association's financial year is 31 July in each year.

The change to 30th September each year will allow the committee to produce Financials and accounts that more accurately reflect the true income expenses of having teams in the various competitions throughout the season. This can be supported by the fact that the AFLQ and AFLBJ Grand Finals are generally completed by this time and post-season events (eg presentation nights) are finalised and therefore can be reflected in that year’s results.

The main reason against this change is that it could result in the Financials and AGM being pushed back to November or December, months in which most members have already switched off from football.

The Redcliffe Tigers AFC Inc Management Committee recommends that the members approve the proposed amendment
