Court/Game fees

At each game the team manager collects between $8.00 and $10.00 to cover the cost of the court fee. Each team is required to pay a court fee of $50 to Northside Wizards to pay for the hire of the court and for referees.

How the Club spends your fees

The SCTBC fees cover hiring of training venues, the use of club singlets for the season, a trophy presented at a trophy night function, plus a team photo for each player, in the Winter Season. The fees collected also cover team registration with Northside Wizards, Coaches Training (the club pays the fees for coaches who undertake Level 1 Coaching Courses), Scorebench Training, purchase of training aids, basketballs for training and first aid supplies.

Training

Training is conducted once a week during the season for approximately one hour, with a break from training during school holiday periods, please note training is not normally conducted on public holidays, check with your coach. Training is usually conducted at the Timothy Peter Centre (TPC). However the club has hired alternate training venues when required.

Uniforms

The club supplies a Basketball Singlet for each player. Each player must have royal blue basketball shorts without any coloured stripes. These shorts can be purchased from sports stores or the counter of the Northside Wizards Basketball Assoc. After the first three weeks of competition, teams can lose 5 points for each player not in the correct uniform.

Also please ensure that players have non-slip and non marking sports shoes for playing.

Please remember that the SCTBC playing singlets always remain the property of the club and must be returned at the end of each season to the team managers or coaches.
