Welcome to the Southern Cross Tigers Basketball Club for Winter 2008

The Southern Cross Tigers Basketball Club (SCTBC) Incorporated is a non-profit organisation that is based at Scarborough. The club’s teams play in the Northside Wizards Basketball Association competition at the Sports Centre (Brisbane Entertainment Centre), Melaleuca Drive, Boondall. The Sports Centre has 5 air conditioned courts and there is a canteen within the centre.

We currently have 22 teams made up of the following age groups:-

U10 years mixed (boys and girls) year of birth 1999 or later

U12 years male and female “ 1997/1998

U14 years male and female “ 1995/1996

U16 years male and female “ 1993/1994

U18 years male and female “ 1991/1992

U21 years male and female “ 1988/89/90

The U10 to U 14 age groups play on Saturday mornings at times commencing from 9.00am to approximately 1.00pm (game commencement).

The U16 to U18/21 age groups play on Sunday nights commencing between 4.00pm 6.00pm with the latest games in the older age group commencing at approximately 8.40pm.

The SCTBC also supports a number of Women and Men’s teams playing in the adult competition at the Northside Wizards on Monday nights.

U14F Cheeky Monkeys vs Aspley Devil Comets.

This week the Southern Cross Tigers Cheeky Monkeys faced the Aspley Devils Comets. After a slow start the girls soon found their rhythm, completing a 50 – 23 win for the Cheeky Monkeys, who remain undefeated for the season.
