A trip to Alex Hills awaited us for 2 undefeated teams. This would give us a good indication as to where we are in the pecking order. With 3 pulling out Saturday night we had to come up with different ideas to cope with our lack of height and strength.

A very close game for 3 quarters but unfortunately we lacked the fitness to go with them in the final quarter. We had 3 players injured which didn’t help but for guys to get to contests we need to train with intensity both nights.

A pleasing note is that we did not bleed goals in the last quarter and if not for 10 minutes of poor concentration the outcome may have been different.

Better players : Strang, Roney, Brown, Rosenow,

Regards,

Ash Humphrey
