The Senior Coaching Committee could not have asked for better turn-outs or any more effort from all of you who attended the pre-Christmas training sessions. It’s a real credit to each and every one of you who obviously are committed to the Tiger cause in 2010.
The important thing now, of course, is to not let the hard work go to waste and to make sure you do some fitness work between now and when we start back.
Training for 2010 will begin on Tuesday 5 January with some running/fitness sessions being organised by Chappy. We’re hoping to get as many down to these two weeks of fitness training as possible to continue the work we started pre-Christmas. These sessions will only go for around 45 minutes (usual start time of 6:00pm) and it’d be a great way to get yourself back on track and ready for the coming season.
Full training resumes on Tuesday 19 January 2010.
For all those available to lend an hour or two of their time, Wardy’s arranging a working bee to clean up the Clubrooms on Saturday 10 January. It’d be great to get as many as possible along to give the rooms a bit of a make-over and prepare our rooms for what we’re hoping will be a big year. It’s our club so let’s put a bit of effort in to getting it the way we’d like. Any time/support you can offer is certainly appreciated.
