Relay For Life Walk

.

.

.

.

.

When:  Saturday 28th February

Where:  Meet in the car park opposite the Redcliffe Police Station - (if not enough parking you can use the Coles carpark opposite) .

Time: 8.30am

.

Please wear your purple RFL shirts. .

.

Would be nice if all survivors wear their survivor sash's.

Each team attending could you please put on a stick, the team flag that was given to you at the relay, that way we can wave them during the walk.

Any team captain who is unable to attend please pass to one of your team members to carry.

I would suggest around half - 1m in length, just a fine stick as you don't want it to be heavy.

If you would like to also bring your team banner or batton that would be great.

We plan on walking along either the beach front or Redcliffe Pde to Sutton's beach and then back.

If any feel they don't wont to walk this distance you can go as far as you feel comfortable.

At the pedestrian crossing at the top end of Redcliffe Pde we will cross and walk along the shop fronts.

We will have RFL flyers to hand out along the way.

We have also decided on a chant, which is attached so you can print it out and learn it please!!!!!!!!!

At the conclusion of the walk we will meet at Banjo's Cafe where they will be providing us with a free muffin , with the purchase of a tea, coffee or cold drink.

Banjo's have also donated 10 x $20.00 vouchers to be used at the Relay in September.

Please get as many of your team as possible for this event and invite any friends or relatives who you think maybe interested in joining us, for a couple of hours, as the more the merrier.

Visitors don't have to wear purple.

RSVP - 23rd February as Banjo's need to know how many muffins to bake - they are baked fresh on the premises daily.

Looking forward to catching up with you all and meeting our new people.

Kind regards
