Our thoughts and best wishes are with the Thirlwell Family after Karen Thirlwell (Mother of U18's player 'JT' Jared Thirlwell) and JT's sisters, Emma & Lauren were involved in the horrible accident that happened on Prince Edward Parade Redcliffe last Saturday.

Pedestrians struck, Redcliffe:

Investigations have commenced into a crash on Prince Edward Parade where four pedestrians were struck around 11.10am. It is believed the four pedestrians were walking along the footpath when they were struck by the car. A 30-year-old woman has been taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital suffering leg fractures and an 11-year-old girl was transported to the Royal Children’s Hospital suffering suspected head injuries. A seven-year-old female and a 12 month old male child were also taken to the Redcliffe Hospital suffering minor injuries. The 35-year-old female driver of the car was taken to the Redcliffe Hospital suffering a medical condition. Investigations are continuing. Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
