The Redcliffe Tigers are saddened to announce the passing of Club volunteer and personality Eric Greenhow. Eric could be found behind the bar at the club on weekends and Thursday nights during the 90’s and into the mid 2000’s. He had a razor sharp wit and an ability to bring his alcohol induced patrons into line. As a lot of the boys who were around in those days have said, “The Viking put up with a lot of crap from us but he sure knew how to give it back too”. I’m sure many of the older generation of Tigers will have many stories to re live about Eric “The Viking”, he will be sadly missed.

A great club man, a great man.
