The Redcliffe Tigers AFC has been struck another blow after going through the 2nd flood in 10 weeks. However, the flood water reached unprecedented levels this time around, It was over 2mtr deep at the change room entry door. The Canteen was fully submerged. Even the storage shed at the top of the car park (Visitors End) was effected. Flood water reached at least 500mm above the floor level. When getting the shed installed, we decided to have it built 300mm higher than what council required, however even that wasn't enough.

The club is currently in deep conversation with the Moreton Bay Regional Council, Mayor Allan Sutherland said on ABC radio this morning that they are right behind us and will do everything within their power to keep the club afloat, so to speak. More information on that to follow.

The club can not thank enough the volunteers that turned up over the weekend to help with the massive clean up. Without you, there would not be a club....  Thank you.

More to follow...
